Six in ten graduates are still living in the Maritimes two years after they finished their degrees, that’s according to a survey done by Advanis in 2014.
The Maritime Provinces Higher Education Commission CEO Mireille Duguay says that study also found that 70 per cent of graduates of New Brunswick universities who stayed in the province were working two years after graduation, compared to 61 per cent of graduates who had left.
Of those who do leave the province, the survey also found…that they do no not always leave for employment, they may also move to continue their education…
Over 2100 people were surveyed between September and December of 2014.
