A lockdown at Dorchester Penitentiary has ended.
Corrections Canada officials says they have completed a search, and normal operations at the medium secured facility has resumed.
A number of unauthorized items and contraband were found during the search.
The lockdown was put into place on September 19th.
Visits to the facility have also now resumed.
