An AMBER Alert is over and a toddler from Maine is safe and sound.
Augusta Police say 3 year old Lenore Wilson was brought into Police headquarters last night, but could not say who brought her, or how the child got there.
They say the AMBER Alert system worked very well for the case, at one point jamming the phone system, and they were able to get several crutial tips from the public.
Along with Augusta Police, Maine State Police, the Department of Public Safety, the FBI, the Computer Crimes Task Force, and K-9 unit were all part of the search for Lenore.
26 year old Fatima Gissentaner, who police believe took the child, is still at large, and the investigation is ongoing.
