It’s a big day tomorrow for healthcare in St. Stephen.
98.1 The Tide’s third Annual Radiothon will broadcast live from the Charlotte County Hospital for 12 hours on Thursday, in hopes of raising $85 thousand dollars for the Charlotte County Hospital Foundation.
In 2014, over $71,000 was raised for a new mammography machine in St. Stephen.
In 2015, $82,000 was raised to purchase a cystoscope for the operating room, and a portable ultrasound machine for the emergency room.
This year, the hospital has made a wish list, that includes things like a patient wandering device, a chair lift, wifi, videoconference equipment, an EKG machine, and more.
The Tide’s Radiothon begins tomorrow at 6am.
