NB Power is reporting the Point Lepreau Nuclear Power Station had to be taken temporarily taken offline yesterday.
There was a configuration issue on the system that provides water to the steam generators. The problem has since been fixed and the unit is the process of returning to service and reconnecting to the grid in the coming days.
