Former Fundy Royal MP Rob Moore has been appointed to represent Atlantic Canada as a critic on the Supreme Court and will advocate for the approval of the Energy East Pipeline.
Rona Ambrose, Leader of the Official Opposition and interim Leader of the Conservative Party appointed Moore and calls him a “hardworking and dedicated public servant who always has the best interests of Atlantic Canadians at heart”.
Ambrose says she appointed Moore as a critic to help hold the Liberal government accountable for their mistreatment of Atlantic Canadians.
Moore was the previous Minister for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency.
