The trial of 28 year old Richard Valiquette on a charge of criminal negligence causing the death of 17 year old Gavin Adams heard about the discovery of his body in December of 2013. The body was discovered frozen under a pile of snow off Chesley Drive.
A pipe and jar were found inside his jacket which both tested positive for the drug DMT. Valiquette earlier pleaded guilty to producing DMT.
Constable Jeffrey Hamilton testified of being approached two days earlier in Lansdowne Plaza by Adrian Goguen who was acting strangely. Goguen told him he had taken a hit of acid but did not say there was anyone else in the same predicament.
