A 25 year old man who’s suspected of holding up two banks in Saint John has been arrested in Gatineau, Quebec where he made a court appearance on several other charges.
Bradley Pearce of no fixed address was arrested after a police chase on Monday. Pearce was wanted on two Canada wide warrants for robbery.
He appeared in a Quebec court yesterday on charges which include dangerous driving, driving while prohibited, possession of a dangerous weapon, obstruction, breach of probation, receiving stolen goods and possession of marijuana.
City Police report an armed robbery last night of the King Street East variety store is being investigated by Major Crime. One man stole a quantity of cash.
Earlier, another man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in an apartment on Peter Street following an altercation. Police have not made an arrest yet.
