Outdoor runners, this is the season for you.
That’s according to Goodlife Fitness which says that the fall has the ideal conditions for outdoor running with the beautiful scenery and the cooler temperatures along with the number of races to sign up for.
Maureen Hagan of Goodlife says you should be aware however the terrain does change this time of year especially when leaves are on the ground which can lead to slipping and falling.
She says she would be more concerned about changes in temperature that people are not used to adding some people often run the same way they did in the summer.
She says suggests proper footwear and warming up correctly so you don’t pull a muscle in cooler weather.
Hagan says you should be wearing light layers this time of year.
