The Toronto Blue Jays find themselves in a do or die situation after losing 4-2 to Cleveland to trail the American League Championship series 3 games to nothing……Four batters into the first inning, blood began to drip out of Trevor Bauer’s right pinkie finger, causing his departure. He had gashed the finger in a drone accident last Friday. Game 4 goes this afternoon at 5:00 with Corey Kluber starting for Cleveland against Aaron Sanchez for the Jays.
Tonight, the Chicago Cubs are in Los Angeles against the Dodgers with the National League championship tied at a game each. Jake Arrieta starts for Chicago against Rich Hill for the Dodgers.
A judge in Ontario rejected an attempt to stop the Cleveland Indians from using their team name and “Chief Wahoo” logo during last night’s playoff game in Toronto. The legal challenge was launched by indigenous activist Douglas Cardinal.
