The electronic data on hard drives from Richard Valiquette’s computers seized by city police were analysed by an RCMP officer with the technological crime unit in Ottawa.
The 28 year old Valiquette is charged with criminal negligence causing the death of 17 year old Gavin Adam in December of 2013. Valiquette earlier pleaded guilty to producing the chemical 25-i.
Constable Sebastien Laurendeau testified the hard drives contained a folder called drugs, a bookmark on chemicals and sites to buy lab equipment.
There was also a Facebook profile of Gavin Adams with an appeal from his brother after Adams was reported missing. Adams had taken 25-i at Valiquette’s apartment before he disappeared.
