An RCMP officer who works in forensics testified on day two of the first-degree murder and arson trial for 18-year-old Devin Morningstar.
Corporal Patrick Gould told the court that he attended the crime scene at 96 Sumac Street in Moncton on the morning of last December 17th.
Gould says the body of 18-year-old Baylee Wylie was removed from the home by himself and other officers and placed in a funeral home vehicle.
Gould told the court about the triplex, the neighbourhood and also described photos which were taken inside the unit.
Earlier today, a neighbour and a sister of a neighbour testified they heard loud arguments and noises during the night of the murder until firefighters were called to put out a fire early the next morning.
