New Brunswickers will want to make sure they have an umbrella handy as a rainfall warning is in effect for the entire province.
The warning is for both today and Saturday and Environment Canada says forecasts suggests general amounts of 40 to 75 millimetres of rain over New Brunswick.
Meteorologist Claude Cote says it’s somewhat difficult to say right now which part of the province will get the most rain, but the Edmundston area could get 75.
“There’s also the possibility that just outside Saint John, maybe the Point Lepreau to Charlotte County and heading toward Fredericton, that computer models are indicating we could also see locally up to 75 millimetres of rain,” says Cote.
Greater Saint John is expected to get around 50 millimetres of rain by the end of Saturday and Moncton could see a bit less than that.
