Stretching from the northwest to the southeast corners of the province, New Brunswick’s portion of the Trans Canada Trail is nearly complete.
Spanning 900 kilometres across New Brunswick, the trail winds it way along rivers, forests, highlands and the Bay of Fundy.
Trails NB spokesperson Paul Jorgensen says work is continuing to fully connect the province to its neighbours.
Jorgensen says a short section near Grand Falls is almost finished while another section from Port Elgin to the Confederation Bridge is in its final stages.
He adds the trail through the province will be soon connected but never really completed since new sections will be added in years to come.
