Charlottetown Police have issued arrest warrants for theft over $5 thousand for the man and woman suspected of stealing two diamonds worth an estimated $20 thousand. Police say they swapped cubic zirconia for the diamonds while distracting the jewellry store clerk on October 12th.
70 year old Grigory Zaharov and 44 year old Natalia Feldman were arrested by York Regional Police in Vaughn, Ontario last week after Saint John Police issued arrest warrants.
The first stop for the pair is Saint John where they will be formally charged with theft over $5 thousand. They’re accused of making off with a diamond estimated to be worth $10 thousand from W. Smith jewellers in Brunswick Square on October 7th.
