They disagree on how to run the province but the Premier is still congratulating Blaine Higgs on his new job, PC leader of New Brunswick.
Brian Gallant says did reach out to Higgs over the weekend.
He tells us he did call him on the night of the convention but wasn’t able to reach him adding they will make sure they have a chance to chat.
Gallant says his government believes they should invest more in health care and education where Higgs wants more cuts to health care and education.
