Jake Arrieta had a no hitter into the sixth inning and Kyle Schwarber drove in two runs as the Chicago Cubs beat Cleveland 5-1 to tie up the World Series at one game each. Schwarber missed all but three games of the regular season after tearing two ligaments in his left knee in early April. Game 3 will be played in Chicago tomorrow night.
In the “Q”, Spencer Smallman scored three goals and added an assist to lead the Saint John Sea Dogs to a 5-2 victory over the Charlottetown Islanders. Sea Dogs forward Mathieu Joseph has been named to the “Q” League team for the CIBC Canada-Russia Series.
