Nine members of the second battalion Royal 22e Regiment were hurt in the Gagetown base training area on Friday morning after a light armoured vehicle hit a hole and came to a sudden stop.
Public affairs officer Stephanie Duschene for the base says all nine of them were taken to hospital and their injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
Eight of them were taken to the Saint John Regional Hospital and one of them was taken to the hospital in Oromocto. As of 3 p.m. Friday eight of the nine injured members have been released from hospital.
Duschene says that an internal investigation will be conducted to find out what caused this.
