Saint John police are investigating a bank robbery that happened yesterday afternoon at the CIBC on the west side.
Staff Sergeant Rick Caswell says the robbery happened around 5pm and police are looking for a male suspect.
Caswell says the suspect was armed and fled on foot.
He says police are also investigating a home invasion that occurred early this morning in the north end.
Two males entered an apartment and assaulted an elderly male with non life threatening injuries.
Police say the two suspects made off with some electronics.
