A jury has been chosen for the second degree murder trial of Matthew Tucker.
Tucker is accused in the death of his mother, Dorothy Tucker of Oak Haven, N.B. in November 2014.
She was reported missing on November 10 and her body was found by hunters 10 days later.
14 men and women have been sworn in as members of the jury. 12 jurors and two alternates.
The jury selection process moved quickly as two full courtrooms of potential jurors was reduced to one.
Many jurors were excused for several reasons including financial hardship, media problems, and knowing people close to the case including the judge, lawyers, police, or members of the Tucker family.
