93 year old Winnie Rice who as a teen witnessed the Battle of Britain is this year’s reviewing officer at the Harbour Station Remembrance Day ceremony.
The event is in it’s 12th year and draws about 7000 people.
Bernie Cormier tells us people can still submit photos for the slideshow but they must send them by this Friday, November 5th.
He says the slideshow covers every conflict and every type of service.
All you need to do is email the picture to culturalaffairs@saintjohn.ca
Cormier says the resolution of the image should be of fairly good quality because it has to be projected and enlarged on a screen.
No names are needed.
