More than 80 prominent New Brunswick companies have become part of the “Inspire NB” program which is designed to connect employers to their future workforce.
Thanks to provincial government contribution of $345,000, Moncton-based Venn Innovation is expanding the program across the province.
“Inspire NB” manager Jessica Kennedy says the program is designed to raise awareness about the future opportunities available for youth.
“Our vision is to see that our workforce… our future workforce, the talent… the young people in our province, better connected in their communities. Understanding the opportunities, knowing where they are, and helping to build our province and build our communities into a better place,” she notes.
Companies such as Ambulance New Brunswick, Assomption Life and JDI are all part of the program.
Kennedy adds so far no employer has said no to taking part.
