Provincial Conservative leader Blaine Higgs says the education system in this province is broken, and that should be a wake up call for all New Brunswickers.
Author Alec Ross. who wrote a New York Times bestseller on industries of the future, says the education system was developed for the industrial age and has to be changed for the technological age.
He says the good jobs of the future will go to young people who can tell machines what to do and that’s why he advocates the teaching of computer coding in the earliest grades because Ross predicts it will be the alphabet of the future.
