The jury in the Matthew Tucker’s second degree murder trial is seeing pictures of red-stained clothing and a gun in court.
The Oak Haven man is charged in the death of his mother Dorothy Tucker.
Dorothy went missing two years ago and her body was found by hunters on November 20th.
The jury heard testimony from Corporal Chris Kean who is a forensic identification officer with the RCMP.
He spoke about clothing he photographed on November 12th 2014.
They include jeans, sock, t-shirts and a jacket. Small red stains are visible in one picture.
Another picture features several towels with red stains on them and another has a red empty shotgun shell.
Kean was also asked to photograph a shed on Dorothy Tucker’s property where a shotgun is found.
The trial has heard the woman died after she was shot in the head.
