RCMP are in need of help from the public that can assist in their investigation of damage to wildlife fencing on Route 11.
On October 30th, police responded to a collision between a vehicle and a deer in Caraquet.
Sergeant Stephane Blanchard says their investigation determined around 20 feet of fencing had been cut on each side of the road, and that meant that the deer could make their way onto the highway.
He says luckily, no one was injured in the accident, but it could have been a lot worse.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crimestoppers.
