If you can wait until midnight to fill up in New Brunswick, gas prices are expected to drop by at least 3.7 cents per litre this week.
Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says diesel prices will likely fall too but not by much.
“I’m looking maybe, if we’re lucky, about a one cent a litre decrease but it looks more like 0.8 and that might not be enough to get people moving,” he notes.
McTeague adds the drops are a reflection of lower prices on the markets in the past week.
