The Opposition Conservatives in the Legislature are suggesting LNG economic opportunities are fading fast.
The M-L-A for Sussex-Fundy-St. Martins, Bruce Northrup says the provincial government has a problem with gas, pointing to legislation preventing the disposal of waste water from fracking in municipal waste water treatment systems which he claims is targeted at Corridor Resources.
Saint John East M-L-A Glen Savoie says the LNG turnaround is gone and New Maryland-Sunbury M-L-A Jeff Carr claims the LNG export opportunity is all but dead.
Questions have also been raised about whether a multi-million dollar fertiliser plant proposed for east Saint John will be built.
