It may not look very Christmassy but a nice mild Saturday means the thousands lining up for the Saint John Santa Claus Parade will be cozy while they watch.
The theme this year is Christmas Memories for the 64th annual parade.
Everyone attending is reminded that gently used coats and non-perishable foods are being collected before the parade starts.
Kids should bring their letters for Santa which will also be collected not long before the big guy arrives.
The parade marshal for this year’s event is Jeff Lafrance who recently retired from the Saint John Police Force.
Anyone with sound sensitivity can enjoy the parade from the No Noise Zone which is designated along St. Patrick Street.
Over 65,000 people line the parade route to watch the parade every year.
