An armed robbery at the Scotiabank in the north end is under investigation by the Saint John police’s Major Crime unit.
Police were told a man came into the bank with a black mask covering the bottom of his face, was waving a handgun around and was very aggressive.
He was wearing a dark coloured jacket, light grey hoodie with the hood up, baggy camouflage cargo pants, and black gloves.
He’s described as about 5 foot 9 and 220 pounds with very long, grey eyebrows.
He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Nobody was hurt.
