The coming winter could be snowier than last year but it doesn’t mean we will see anything like the “Snowmageddon” winter two years ago.
The Weather Network’s Kelly Sonnenburg says how cold it will be depends on the active storm track.
She says we will like see a significant swing in temperatures throughout the season and it’s highly dependent on those Nor’easters.
She adds you see a warm up with strong southerly winds and as the Nor’easters track to the east you see an artic plunge in temperatures.
Snowstorms over the last few days left parts of Ontario snow-covered including a town near Thunder Bay which got hammered with 43 centimetres of snow.
