More Canadians are opting to do their holiday shopping from the comfort of their couches instead of braving the shopping malls according to a new survey from FedEx.
61-percent of Canadians plan to shop online for the holiday gifts this year which is up from 52-percent last year and from 45-percent in 2014.
76-percent of millenials, 67-percent of Gen Xers, 43-percent of baby boomers will turn to their computers or smart devices to buy gifts this season.
The survey asked – what do Canadians find most convenient about online holiday shopping – 56 percent said it’s simple to compare prices, 53-percent said they can have gifts shipped directly to their home and 34-percent said it’s easy to find the right gifts.
