Friends, family, staff, students and those who never met him spending time celebrating Dennis Knibb who served as a principal at Saint John High for 27 years.
Peter Hyslop from the Class of ’73 spoke about how Dennis Knibb kept up on politics and while he was pleased with the results of the municipal vote in Saint John he was upset by what happened south of the border.
Hyslop says he spoke with real disillusionment about the world and its future.

Marijke Bloke spoke on behalf of the faculty and spoke of how proud he was of the Saint John High alumni and their accomplishments.
She said he was grateful for the graduates who donated to the school but he was not above or below sending a note saying “this is all well and good but you can come up with a bit more in your position.”
Steve Murphy from the Class of 78 spoke about travelling with Dennis Knibb to a debate tournament in Ontario and his penchant for speeding.
He said Knibb got speeding tickets in every jurisdiction as they drove through the United States and threw them out the window as he crossed every state line.
