Five more charities are being added to the long list of organizations that benefit from the United Way.
The United Way serving Charlotte, Kings, and Saint John Counties announcing the new projects that will recieve funding for 2017, and the Grand Manan Boys & Girls Club is one of them.
The other new charities include: Outflow, Sistema, the Saint John Boys & Girls Club, and New Horizons in Sussex.
The Foundation says a total of 18 charities will serve hundreds of our communities most vulnerable, and they run from Grand Manan to Sussex.
Other charities in Charlotte County that already recieve funding from The United Way: Milltown Elementary School and Blacks Harbour Elementary School for help with summer reading camps, and the Fundy Region Transition House.
