The boil water order issued for Saint Johners living east of the Reversing Falls has been lifted.
The order was issued for the approximately 45,000 people on Thursday after increases in turbidity, or cloudiness, in the water treatment plant at Latimer Lake caused by high winds and rain and was rescinded on Sunday evening.
The city says that if you’ve been using water over the last few days you don’t need to do anything as you’ve flushed out the old water, however, if you’ve been away they recommend turning on the taps in your home for a few minutes.
