P.R.O kids have donated over $17,500 to the YMCA of greater Saint John for their strong kids program.
President & CEO for the YMCA Shilo Boucher says the donation will help remove financial barriers for kids in Saint John.
Boucher says 180 children in the city’s north end now have memberships at the YMCA because of financial help like this.
She says the money will help 60 kids attend day camp and it will cover the cost of transportation as well.
Boucher calls the partnership between the YMCA and P.R.O. Kids “great”,because they “believe in the same thing, which is providing access to kids for recreational activities.”
