At the baseball winter meetings, the Boston Red Sox landed one of the best pitchers in the Majors by trading for lefthander Chris Sale. The White Sox get four prospects in return including highly touted Yoan Moncada and pitcher Micheal Kopech……The Tampa Bay Rays have agreed to terms with all-star catcher Wilson Ramos who played for the Washington Nationals. It’s being reported the Chicago Cubs and Washington Nationals are both after reliever Wade Davis who played with the Kansas City Royals. The Cubs view Davis as a replacement for Aroldis Chapman who’s seeking a six year contract, the length of which has been, to this point, unheard of. Washington just lost reliever Mark Melancon who signed with San Francisco.
