Bring your pets inside and turn up the thermostat.
We are hitting the deep freeze tonight.
An extreme cold warning has been issued, warning a bitterly cold airmass will move across the province overnight Thursday into Friday with gusty winds.
Temperatures are expected to drop to nearly minus 20 degrees by Friday morning with strong winds gusting up to 60 kilometres an hour behind a deepening low pressure system.
Enviroment Canada warns that we could experience windchill values between minus 30 and minus 35 early on Friday giving a risk of frostbite.
