Environment Canada reports the bitterly cold temperatures and high wind chills will be with us through tonight. Winds will be gusting as high as 70 kilometers an hour through the day.
The high winds are not expected to become light until around midnight. Exposed skin will freeze in just ten minutes with the strong winds.
A big change will be coming tomorrow as many people will be out and about doing their Christmas shopping. 2 to 4 centimeters of snow is expected but the high will rise to 2 above and then on Sunday, the forecast is calling for rain and a high of 11.
