The Saint John Sea Dogs have made a trade with the Quebec Rempart, acquiring goalie Callum Booth in a multi player transaction which includes goalie Alex Bishop and forward Olivier Mathieu going to Quebec.

In the Red Hawk Hoop Classic, it was Saint John High winning the championship game, 80-65 over Rothesay High. Rasheed Ali was the top scorer for the Greyhounds with 20 points. Matt Baker had 23 points for Rothesay High and both were tournament All Stars.

There will be an information meeting for junior aged baseball players and their parents, tomorrow night at 7 at O’Leary’s on Princess St. The team was known last season as the Pirates but for the upcoming season will become the Saint John Junior Alpines, operating under the umbrella of the Senior Alpines.
