A Moncton man who is going to trial this Fall in relation to the murder of Baylee Wylie managed to escape policy custody briefly this morning.
Tyler Dominique Noel was the subject of a short police chase around 11 this morning.
He was caught less than 10 minutes after police in Saint John were alerted to the escape.
Noel appeared in court this afternoon to answer a charge of escaping lawful custody.
The Department of Public Safety will be investigating how Noel was able to escape.
