MONCTON – It took awhile, but Lottery officials finally tracked down the winner of $100, 000.
Diane Jordan of Dartmouth won the cash in the 2Chance contest on March 16th.
Efforts to contact her, by phone, email and even Facebook were unsuccessful, so Vanessa Matthews from ALC sent her a registered letter.
The letter urged her to call the Atlantic Lottery Corporation. She was a bit skeptical at first, but the news made her day.
Diane works two jobs, as a cleaner and caregiver, and she says she is close to retiring, but she has no big plans for the money as of yet.
During the 2Chance program, players of scratch and win tickets, could submit the winning and non winning tickets. They were thrown into a draw, with the chances of being chosen for a cash prize.
