The $20-million new west Saint John elementary school has a name.
The school at the corner of Havelock Street and Fundy Drive will be named Seaside Park elementary school.
Construction on the three-story school began back in November of 2015 and it will open its doors in September of this year to about 470 students.
The school replaces St. Patrick’s, Havelock and Seawood schools.
The new name was announced today in Saint John by premier Brian Gallant.
