As of midnight the Saint John Airport will have a new Chair of the Board of Directors.
Larry Hachey, the current vice-chair will step in as Norm McFarlane wraps up his nine year maximum term as board chair.
McFarlane, a former MLA and Mayor of Saint John is leaving the YSJ Board in good hands as the airport is continuing to have sustained growth and it had its highest ever passenger numbers in 2017.
Hachey became vice-chair last year.
