Some tense moments for passengers aboard a Porter Airlines flight heading from Halifax to Montreal.
Flight #1480 was forced to land at the Fredericton International Airport this morning after the crew reported a small electrical fire.
An airline spokesperson tells our newsroom the fire was put out prior to landing and all 72 passengers and four crew members on board are safe.
Porter Airlines flight #1480 from Halifax to Montreal was diverted to YFC this morning. All passengers are safely inside the terminal. Other flights arriving and departing YFC may be delayed as we return to normal operations, please check your flight status with your airline.

The airline is working to get passengers to their destination today on another flight.
Meanwhile, the aircraft involved will be inspected and assessed before being put back into service.
