A woman who owns a west side bed & breakfast is dipping her toes in political waters and she comes by it honestly.
Kathleen Riley-Karamanos is seeking the Liberal nomination to run in the riding of Saint John-Lancaster this fall.
CHSJ News asked her why she would run for the Liberal party. She says she’s a born and bred Liberal because her father, Dan Riley, was an MLA, MP, and Senator.
She says the Gallant Liberals are thinking about the future.
“They believe in working with newcomers, seniors, and millennials.” Riley-Karam says “I believe they are really on the right track”.
Dorothy Shephard is the PC incumbent for the riding.
