Sgt. Tom Clayton tells CHSJ News they learned the suspect had left the motel in a black sedan heading uptown.
“Officers spotted the vehicle and they did a high-risk takedown and three occupants in the vehicle were arrested and a firearm was recovered,” says Clayton.
Clayton says anytime there is a weapon, the situation is a bit heightened especially considering what just happened in Fredericton.
“You just don’t know and since last week everyone would be for sure”.
The situation impacted traffic as well causing a big slowdown over the lunch hour.
