During the debate, Gallant laughed it off but Higgs tells CHSJ News, it did indeed happen and he says the Liberal leader can no longer question his performance as David Alward’s Finance Minister.
“You can talk, you can say, and you can act any way you like but at the end of the day if my record is as bad as you claim why would you offer me a position in your government, I mean why would you even consider it,” says Higgs.
Higgs says “this puts a cloud over everything Brian Gallant says, adding “how you can trust this guy”.
