City police looking for help finding whoever knocked over two convenience stores this week.
Just after 5 p.m. on Sunday, officers were called to the South End convenience store on St. James street after a robbery.
An armed man was aggressive when demanding money from a store employee before taking off with some cash.
The clerk was treated in hospital and released.
The robber, in this case, is described as about 5 foot 10 inches tall wearing a red bandana, black sweater and black pants.
On Tuesday, just after 8:30 p.m., police learned of another armed robbery, this time at Sandi’s Convenience on Sandy Point road.
An aggressive man again demanded money from the store clerk.
In this case, the man was wearing a black mask, a camo coloured Adidas hoodie with three white stripes on the bicep area of the sweater and the number 3 on the back of this coat.
The Major Crime Unit of the Saint John police force are looking into both of these robberies and asking the public for help in identifying whoever is responsible.
