A firefighter suffered minor injuries while battling a fire in Hampton over the weekend.
Hampton Fire Rescue says they were called to Lakeside Road around 1:20 p.m. Saturday.
“Upon arrival, crews were met with a fully involved garage only feet from the house,” said the department in a Facebook post.
Crews were not able to save the garage but the house received only minor heat damage.
One firefighter slipped on the ice and was taken to hospital by paramedics as a precaution.
Firefighters from Nauwigewauk, Kennebecasis Valley and Upham also helped fight the fire.
No word yet on what may have caused the fire.
