There will be a new president and vice-chancellor for the University of New Brunswick starting in July.
In a news release, the university board of governors has announced Dr. Paul Mazerolle will assume the role, taking over for the retiring Dr. Eddy Campbell.
Mazerolle, a UNB alumnus, hails from New Brunswick and his current role is pro vice-chancellor of arts, education and law and the director of the violence research and prevention program with Griffith University in Queensland, Australia.

Larry Hachey, chair of the UNB Board of Governors, thanked Dr. Campbell for his tremendous commitment to the university over the last decade.
